Begin your scuba diving journey with Florida Springs Scuba and SSI!

In the SSI Basic Diver program, you will learn the skills and knowledge you need to try diving up to 40ft deep with an SSI Professional. It is a great way to explore the underwater world more fully as you try diving. The entire Basic Diver program can be credited towards the Scuba Diver or Open Water Dive programs within 6 months, so you can take the next step in your dive adventure. Your confined water training for the Basic Diver Program will take place in the pool at the world famous Devil's Den Prehistoric Spring Dive Resort, with the following dive allowing you to finally explore the beautiful underwater world in the prehistoric spring.  

Minimum Age – 10 years old

You'll need to bring a swim suit or other non-bulky clothing to wear under the provided wetsuit. All other equipment, learning material, and entrances provided.
