The Basic Diver program provides customers with a dive in one of your world famous springs.
You will start by going to the pool andcompleting thenecessary skills to enjoy the grotto.
After gaining the knowledge to complete introductory scuba dives with a Florida Springs Scuba Instructor you will get to experience the grottowithin it’sopen water environment.
Once you have completed your academic sessions, confined water/pool training and final exam with your Local Dive Center, allow one of the Florida Springs Scuba Instructors to work with you to complete your Open Water Diver Training.

TheOpen Water Diver program provides students with the knowledge and training necessary to dive autonomously with an equally- or more-qualified buddy, in environments equivalent with their training and to depths shallower than 60 feet.
After completing your Online Training, confined water/pool training, and final exams, complete your training with one of Florida Springs Scuba Instructor at one of the many crystal-clear springs in the surrounding area.
Florida Springs Scuba was one of the first dive centers to be trained by representatives from both Mares and SSI on the Horizon SCR Unit. Being one of the first, allowed our instructors to gain experience necessary to train you on this state-of-the-art Semi-Closed Rebreather.
We offer SSI SCR Dive Training for those interested in no decompression diving using the Mares Horizon SCR.
